Masterchef Singapore is a culinary competition show produced by Beach House Pictures. The show comprises of 12 episodes, each featuring 12 contestants who battle it out to prove their culinary skills and talents. Masterchef gives ordinary home cooks a chance to showcase their skills and compete for the title of Masterchef.

The show follows the traditional format of a cooking competition, with challenges each week to test the contestants' abilities to prepare high quality and tasty dishes. Throughout the season, the contestants are faced with mystery boxes, skills tests, team challenges, and elimination rounds.

The judges, Chef Bjorn Shen, Chef Audra Morrice, and Chef Damian D'Silva, are all seasoned and professional chefs, who have strict standards and high expectations when it comes to their judging criteria. They are each respected in their own right, come from different culinary backgrounds, and bring their unique strengths to the show. Chef Bjorn Shen is a former Masterchef finalist and the head chef at Artichoke restaurant in Singapore, Chef Audra Morrice is an Australian celebrity chef, cookbook author, and winner of Masterchef Australia 2012, and Chef Damian D'Silva is a Singaporean chef and prolific food historian, who specializes in traditional Peranakan dishes.

Throughout the season, the contestants are coached, mentored, and pushed to their limits as they strive to impress the judges and avoid elimination. They are also given the opportunity to learn from and cook alongside guest judges, who share their expertise and knowledge with the contestants.
