In this episode of Mike Judge's Beavis and Butt-Head, the infamous duo become fascinated with a strange girl in their class who they deem as "weird." The episode begins with the boys in their class, not paying attention and drawing pictures of their teacher as a frog. Suddenly, a new girl walks in who catches their attention immediately. She has a patch of missing hair on her head, a nose ring, and goes by the name of Dawn. Beavis and Butt-Head are captivated by her, calling her "weird" and talking about her constantly.
In the next scene, the two boys are hanging out in their living room, discussing what makes Dawn so fascinating. They come to the conclusion that it must be because she's a "freak" and therefore "cool." They decide to go to the local record store to find a "weird" album to impress her.
While at the record store, they come across an album cover depicting a time machine. They steal it and head back to their house to listen to the album, hoping that it will make them seem even more "weird" and interesting to Dawn. As they listen, they begin to have visions of themselves traveling through time. They see themselves as cavemen, pirates, and even cowboys. Excited by their visions, they decide to make a time machine themselves using parts from an old refrigerator.
As they struggle to build the machine, they take a break and watch TV. They see a re-run of an old sci-fi show where astronauts travel through time. Inspired by the show, they decide to dress up as astronauts and go to Dawn's house to show off their new costumes and time machine.
When they arrive at Dawn's house, they find that she's not impressed by their costumes or their time machine. She tells them that she's not interested in "weird" things, and that she just wants to be left alone. Beavis and Butt-Head are taken aback by her rejection and quickly leave. As they walk home, they start to have second thoughts about their obsession with "weirdness."
In the final scene, Beavis and Butt-Head return to class, where they find that Dawn has shaved her head completely. They are surprised to find that they don't find her "weird" anymore, that the thing they found "weird" about her was her patch of missing hair. They realize that they were wrong to judge her and that it's not cool to be "weird" just for the sake of fitting in or impressing others.
Overall, this episode of Mike Judge's Beavis and Butt-Head is a funny and lighthearted exploration of teenage fascination with "weirdness" and how it can sometimes blind people from seeing individuals for who they really are.
