Ep 13. Newton House

In season 11 episode 13 of Most Haunted, the team travels to Newton House, a stunning 17th-century mansion in Llandeilo, Wales. The episode begins with lead investigator Yvette Fielding explaining that the house was once home to the infamous Lady Elinor Cavendish, who is said to haunt the property to this day.

The team splits up to investigate different areas of the house. Yvette and Karl Beattie explore the terrifyingly named 'Dead Room', where Lady Elinor is said to have died. They immediately pick up on strange noises and voices, and Karl claims to see a shadowy figure on the stairs. In another part of the house, Fred Batt and Glen Hunt use a ouija board to try and make contact with Lady Elinor. As they ask questions, the board seems to spell out a message from the ghostly lady herself.

Elsewhere in the house, Stuart Torevell and Richard Felix visit the Chapel, a creepy room filled with religious artefacts and symbols. As they sit in silence, they hear eerie whispers and footsteps. Meanwhile, Cath Howe and Gregg Smith investigate the Tapestry Room, where there are said to be multiple spirits. They both have experiences with a ghostly figure and strange cold spots.

As the night wears on, the team grows increasingly frightened. They all feel like they're being watched, and many report feeling cold chills down their spines. Yvette decides to bring everyone together to take part in a séance in one of the grander rooms of the house. As they hold hands and try to make contact with the spirits, the atmosphere becomes tense. Suddenly, there's a loud noise, and the team members break apart in fear.

Overall, season 11 episode 13 of Most Haunted at Newton House is a spooky and suspenseful watch. The team encounters some truly hair-raising experiences, and the beautiful yet eerie setting of the old mansion only adds to the tension. Fans of ghost hunting shows will find plenty to enjoy here, and even sceptics may find themselves feeling a bit spooked.
