Ep 5. Delapre Abbey

In season 15 episode 5 of Most Haunted, the team ventures to Delapre Abbey, a historic site in Northampton. The abbey has a rich history, having been founded in 1145 by the Bishop of Northampton. Over the years, it has served various purposes, including as a private residence and a hospital during World War II.

However, Delapre Abbey is also known for its ghostly activity. Visitors and staff have reported seeing figures, hearing strange noises, and feeling an eerie presence throughout the abbey's rooms and corridors. The Most Haunted team sets out to investigate these claims and discover what supernatural forces may be lurking within the ancient walls.

As they begin their investigation, the team splits up into smaller groups to cover more ground. Yvette Fielding and her team use various tools, including a spirit box and a thermal imaging camera, to try and communicate with any spirits that may be present. While exploring the abbey's kitchens, they capture what appears to be a ghostly figure on camera.

Meanwhile, Karl Beattie and Stuart Torevell explore the extensive tunnels beneath Delapre Abbey. The tunnels were used during World War II as air raid shelters and are said to be haunted by the spirits of those who sought refuge there. Karl and Stuart's investigation leads them to a mysterious underground room, where they hear strange noises and feel an overwhelming sense of dread.

But the investigation takes a darker turn when one team member experiences a sudden, unexplained illness. As the team rushes to help their colleague, they must also face the possibility that the abbey's supernatural forces may be more powerful than they originally thought.

Despite these challenges, the Most Haunted team pushes forward, determined to uncover the truth about Delapre Abbey's haunted history. As they conduct various experiments and communicate with any spirits they encounter, they piece together a chilling story of past tragedies and ghostly encounters. By the end of the investigation, the team has captured numerous pieces of evidence and gained a new understanding of the mysterious forces at work within the abbey's walls.
