Ep 1. Lyceum Theatre

In the first episode of Most Haunted's 18th season, the team investigates the Lyceum Theatre in Crewe, England - a historic venue that has been entertaining audiences for over a century. The theatre is said to be haunted by a wide variety of ghosts, including a Victorian woman, a mischievous child, and even a phantom dog.

As per usual, the investigation begins with a tour of the theatre, led by the theatre's manager, who tells the team about some of the strange occurrences that have been reported over the years. Unexplained footsteps, disembodied voices, and strange shadows are just a few of the things that people have reported experiencing in the theatre's various rooms and backstage areas.

From there, the team splits up to conduct their own individual investigations. Lead investigator Yvette Fielding and psychic Derek Acorah head to the upper floors of the theatre, where they feel the presence of the aforementioned Victorian woman. Derek channels her spirit and claims that she is upset that the theatre has changed so much since her time.

Meanwhile, Fred Batt and Glen Hunt head to the basement, where they attempt to make contact with a mischievous child ghost who is said to haunt the area. They use a variety of ghost-hunting equipment, including EMF meters and static cameras, but don't have much luck in finding anything concrete.

Later on, the team joins forces again for a séance in the theatre's main auditorium. Led by psychic medium Chris Conway, they attempt to make contact with the spirits of the theatre's former patrons, many of whom are said to still visit the theatre to this day. The séance is a tense affair, with the team feeling a dark, oppressive energy in the room as they communicate with the spirits.

Throughout the investigation, the team continues to experience strange occurrences, from unexplained knocks and footsteps to the sudden appearance of cold spots. Tensions are high as they attempt to get to the bottom of what's really going on in the Lyceum Theatre.

In the end, the investigation is inconclusive - as is often the case with Most Haunted. While the team certainly experiences some strange occurrences, they are unable to definitively prove the existence of any supernatural activity. However, for fans of the show, that's all part of the fun - as they tune in week after week to see the team try to uncover the mysteries of some of the UK's most haunted locations.
