Ep 22. Peterborough Museum
- August 23, 2005
In season 6 episode 22 of Most Haunted, the team visits the Peterborough Museum, which is said to be one of the most haunted places in England. The museum is housed in an old Georgian building that was formerly used as a hospital and then a barracks during World War II.
The team, led by Yvette Fielding, begins their investigation by exploring the basement of the building. They immediately sense a strong presence and hear strange noises coming from the dark corners of the room. Yvette and the team use their equipment to try and communicate with any spirits that might be present, and they soon pick up on some unusual readings.
Moving on to the ground floor of the museum, the team continues their investigation and begins to experience some unusual activity. They hear footsteps coming from empty corridors and doors slamming shut on their own. There are also reports of cold spots and strange smells permeating the air.
The team decides to split up and explore different parts of the museum. Yvette and her cameraman begin to explore the upper floors of the building, where they encounter a dark, foreboding presence. As they move deeper into the museum, they begin to feel more and more uneasy, with Yvette even claiming to feel like something was trying to push her down the stairs.
As the investigation continues, the team brings in a psychic medium, who begins to pick up on the presence of a female spirit named Agnes. Agnes is said to have been a servant in the building during the Victorian era and is thought to be responsible for some of the paranormal activity that has been reported in the museum over the years.
The team continues to explore the museum, and they soon encounter more strange phenomena. They witness objects moving on their own and hear voices coming from empty rooms. At one point, they even catch sight of a mysterious figure in the shadows.
Despite their fear, the team refuses to give up, and they continue to investigate until the early hours of the morning. By the end of the episode, they've gathered a wealth of evidence that suggests that the Peterborough Museum is indeed one of the most haunted places in England.
Overall, season 6 episode 22 of Most Haunted is a gripping and suspenseful exploration of one of England's most haunted locations. With its eerie atmosphere, strange phenomena, and compelling cast of characters, it's a must-watch for fans of the paranormal and anyone who loves a good ghost story.
