Most Haunted season 9 episode 3 takes place in the historic Beaumaris Gaol, located on the Isle of Anglesey in Wales. The prison was built in 1829 and was used to house local criminals and debtors. It was also used as a holding facility for prisoners being transported to larger prisons in England.

Throughout the episode, the Most Haunted team explores the dark and ominous corridors of the prison, attempting to make contact with the spirits of former inmates and prison staff. The team is led by presenter Yvette Fielding, who is accompanied by resident demonologist Fred Batt and paranormal investigator Karl Beattie, among others.

The team begins their investigation in the Prisoner's Gallery, a section of the prison that housed some of the most dangerous criminals. Yvette, Fred, and Karl sense a strong presence in the room and attempt to communicate with the spirits using traditional ghost hunting techniques, such as calling out to them and using electronic voice phenomena (EVP) recording devices. The team is able to capture several mysterious noises and whispers on their EVP devices, which they believe to be the voices of former prisoners.

As the investigation moves on, the team splits up to explore different areas of the prison. Karl and camera operator Stuart are sent to investigate the old kitchen area, where they experience unexplained drops in temperature and strange noises. Meanwhile, resident medium Derek Acorah is sent to the surgery room, where he attempts to make contact with the spirit of a former prison doctor. Derek is able to sense a strong presence in the room, and claims to have made contact with the doctor's spirit.

Throughout the episode, the Most Haunted team also investigates the women's section of the prison, which was located in a separate building. They attempt to make contact with the spirit of a former female inmate, who is said to have been imprisoned for infanticide. Yvette and Fred sense a strong presence in the area, and claim to have seen a shadowy figure moving in the darkness.

As the investigation comes to a close, the team reflects on their experiences in the prison. Despite being a notoriously haunted location, they are unable to definitively prove the existence of paranormal activity. However, they leave with a sense of unease and caution, knowing that the spirits of former prisoners may still inhabit the dark and eerie corridors of Beaumaris Gaol.

Overall, Most Haunted season 9 episode 3 is a spine-tingling look at one of the most haunted locations in the United Kingdom. With its dark history and ominous atmosphere, Beaumaris Gaol is a fitting location for the Most Haunted team to explore, and they do so with their usual mix of skepticism and curiosity. For fans of ghost hunting and the paranormal, this episode is a must-see.
