Deep in the foundation excavations, a fossil tooth has been found. A team of palaeontologists, led by legendary palaeontologist Dr Charlie Minogue, sift the clay in the hope of uncovering more clues. Then one morning the team finds a quantity of fresh bones in the trench. Someone has murdered Dr Minogue, sandblasted the flesh off his bones and buried them as some sort of macabre joke.
