My Uncle is the Green River Killer is a documentary told by the killer's niece herself. For sixteen years her uncle spent his life killing a documented 49 women, but that number could be higher. His family had no idea that the man they knew and loved had such a secret, gruesome, dark side, until his capture in 2001. The documentary was created to give the family a chance to heal after not only the shock of finding out that he was a serial killer and the stigma that came with being related to a killer. The documentary features a first time interview with the killer as well as unseen family archives.
