In the fourth episode of Noblesse Season 1, the stakes start to get higher for our main characters as they continue to uncover more information about the mysterious organization known as the Union. The episode, titled "Spiderweb / Long Fall," introduces us to two new characters: Frankenstein's former colleague, Dr. Aris, and a deadly assassin known only as "Kranz."
As the episode begins, we see Dr. Aris being held captive by the Union, who are interrogating him in order to gain access to his research on the Noblesse. Meanwhile, our hero, Raizel, is still struggling to adjust to his new life in the human world. He's accompanied by his loyal servant, Frankenstein, who is doing his best to keep him safe while also uncovering more about the Union's plans.
One of the standout moments in this episode is a flashback to Frankenstein's past, where we learn more about his relationship with Dr. Aris. We see how the two men worked together to create the artificial lifeforms known as "modified humans," and how their partnership eventually fell apart due to Frankenstein's moral objections to the project.
Back in the present day, Frankenstein and Raizel are still working to figure out what the Union is up to. They discover that the organization has been manipulating the memories of regular humans in order to cover up their activities, and that they're planning to start a coup in the human world.
This is where Kranz comes into the picture. He's a highly skilled assassin who has been hired by the Union to take out anyone who gets in their way. His first target is Dr. Aris, who is being held captive in a secret Union facility. Raizel and Frankenstein are determined to rescue him, so they set off on a dangerous mission to infiltrate the facility and bring him back.
The rest of the episode is a tense, action-packed adventure as the trio makes their way through the Union's base. They have to use all of their skills and wits to battle their way past the Union's guards and uncover the truth about the organization's plans. There are some thrilling fight scenes, as well as moments of humor and character development as we get to know Frankenstein, Raizel, and Dr. Aris better.
Overall, "Spiderweb / Long Fall" is a great episode that advances the season's overarching plot while also introducing some fascinating new characters. It's a must-watch for fans of action, drama, and suspense.
