In the twelfth episode of season 3 of Our Cartoon President, titled Debate Prep, we see the animated world of politics and satire come to life once again as the POTUS prepares for a televised debate.

The episode begins with the cartoon President meeting his campaign team, consisting of Scooter, Sarah, and the Vice President. They are in the midst of brainstorming ideas for slogans and strategies to use during the debate when the President suddenly notices a book on the table titled "Words for Morons". He begins to read through it and comes across a word he doesn't know the meaning of. This leads to a hilarious sequence of the President, Scooter, and Sarah trying to one-up each other with their knowledge of various obscure words in an attempt to impress each other.

As the team continues to try and come up with debate strategies, they receive a message from their opponent's team that they want to do a mock debate. Coincidentally, the President's team had just finished setting up a simulation for the same purpose. However, the team decides to invite an outsider to play the role of their opponent, someone who can bring the heat and truly challenge the President.

The President is clearly anxious about the upcoming debate, and begins to fret about every detail. He even undergoes a dramatic makeover with the help of Sarah to "look more presidential". This makeover features a new haircut, a spray tan, and a wardrobe change. Despite the change in appearance, the President's nerves only increase as the debate approaches.

In the midst of his anxiety, we see a surprising moment of vulnerability where the President confesses to the Vice President that he is scared of losing the election and that he has never been good at debates. This is a rare moment of the President showing self-awareness and admitting to his flaws, which is surprising given his usually boastful and arrogant demeanor.

As the mock debate begins, it quickly becomes apparent that the President's team is not prepared for the level of criticism their opponent is throwing their way. The "newcomer" opponent is brutally honest, and the President's team struggles to come up with any kind of response. The President becomes increasingly agitated until he abruptly ends the simulation and heads back to the Oval Office.

The team regroups and tries to come up with a new strategy, but the President is convinced that he is going to lose the debate. He even decides to buy a one-way ticket to Russia, claiming he will not be able to handle the fallout from a disastrous debate.

Just when things seem hopeless, Sarah has a stroke of genius and comes up with a plan to flip the script. She decides that the President should pretend to be so bad at the debate that it becomes a viral moment, one that will generate a lot of buzz and get the public talking.

The President is initially skeptical of this plan, but as he begins to embrace it, something strange happens. He starts to become confident. He even begins to improvise during the mock debate, cracking jokes and making snide remarks that impress his team.

With the President feeling confident, the real debate begins. It's a nerve-wracking experience for everyone involved, but the President's team is pleasantly surprised by how well he is doing. He sticks to the plan, pretending to be incompetent, but instead comes across as funny and relatable.

As the debate ends, the President declares victory. His team is ecstatic, and the President himself is feeling confident once again. However, as the episode comes to an end, it becomes clear that there may be a dark cloud on the horizon. The Russian government has just issued a statement that they will be releasing incriminating information about the President's campaign.

The episode ends on a cliffhanger, leaving the audience wondering what will happen in the next episode. Will the President be able to navigate this scandal, or will it be the downfall of his campaign?

Overall, this episode of Our Cartoon President provides a hilarious and insightful look into the world of politics and campaigns, with a healthy dose of satire and humor. The clever writing and spot-on voice acting make for an entertaining viewing experience, and the plot twists and turns keep the audience engaged until the very end.
