Feeling jealous, Brinicle confronts his friend, only for the argument to get broadcast in error, meaning Pancake loses his show, to his huge relief!

37. The Jukebox Jam

When a jukebox washes up on the berg, its catchy song proves an instant hit among the Piripenguins, with the whole colony soon singing the same silly ditty morning, noon and night. Driven to distraction, Pancake turns to Looph, who advises him to invent a new craze to replace it, something that's easier said than done.

Flutter is sent to the "Naughty Berg" as a punishment when he falls foul of an old Piri rule book, but when the others start telling tales, he's not the only one to be banished. The Piris worry a seal colony is planning a berg takeover and deploy a remote-controlled seal "spy" which gathers evidence of an invasion. As panic spreads, Pancakes fears that Nugget might have been captured by the seals. The Piris launch a rescue mission, only to discover their suspicions have been far off the mark.

When the Piris discover a skeleton buried in the ice, they deduce it's an ancestor and are keen to connect with their past. After a series of strange discoveries about "Early Piri," they realize the creature has links to Brinicle's last Halloween costume, but are happy to have learnt more about themselves.

Brinicle decides to report news on the berg. But one day, when nothing happens, he decides to make a story up. It gets more attention than usual, so he keeps inventing more and more stories. However, soon he realizes his tall tales are having an impact on others, and he has to learn the error of his ways.

Inspired by her favorite comics, Nugget reinvents herself as a hero called Super Nugget and swings into action in her cape and mask, ready to protect penguins in peril. Pancake is dismissive of her superpowers and new role as defender of the berg, before the other Piripenguins persuade him to have a major rethink.

31. Pancake's Big Beak Freakout

Pancake is worried about going to have his beak "buffed" in case of a mishap, so his Piri friends try a variety of schemes to help, including role-playing, scientific explanations and a hypnosis session. They only succeed in making things worse and blaming each other, until Pancake takes matters into his own flippers.

30. Big Sister Nugget

Nugget plays "big sister" to little penguin Paddle for the summer and devises a high-energy program of events including kite-flying, "snow-balling" down a mountain and extreme hiking. But it's soon clear that Paddle is not enjoying himself, leaving Nugget stumped -- until Pancake suggests an alternative approach.

Nugget vows to take on a scary new ice-slide in front of an excited Piripenguin crowd, but loses her nerve at the last minute, so Pancake comes up with a face-saving plan. After Pancake saves him from a mishap, Flutter makes a solemn vow -- based on his Viking heritage -- to repay the debt. With a reluctant Pancake in tow, the Piripenguins plan a trip to Tippety Top to see the famous Southern lights but disappear one after another in a sudden "ice-fog." Although nervous himself, Pancake bravely steps up and proves an unlikely hero when Nugget thinks she sees a monster, before the truth is finally revealed.

The annual fun sports contest is taken over by penguin nemesis Millie the Squid, who devises a set of tough "Penguin Games" to test the Piripenguins. A slick sales rep visits the berg and, despite Pancake's doubts, convinces the Piris to buy extra pairs of flashy flippers complete with light up toes! The penguins quickly discover their purchases are duds and are forced to admit they've been bamboozled, before Looph finds an ingenious use for their poor investment.

3. The Merguin

The Piripenguins fall under the spell of a mythical "Merguin" (a mermaid-penguin), who changes their personalities before leading them to her island from which no penguin has returned. With her friends in a trance, it's up to sensible Looph to prove that the creature is far from magical and bring them back to reality.

2. Pancake's Syncing Feeling

"Two left flippers" Pancake worries he'll spoil the synchronised swim team's chances in the swim contest, so he turns to coach Millie the Squid for help. At first he's annoyed by her off-beat training methods, which even involve cleaning her cave, but they pay off unexpectedly in the final, to his fellow Piris' surprise.
