As Ash and his friends continue to search the mansion, they find themselves in a maze of seemingly endless rooms. After exploring the maze, the group eventually finds Purrloin, but the Pokémon is being guarded by a group of wild Liepard. Ash and his friends quickly realize that they need Dino's help to rescue Purrloin, so they go back to convince him to join them.

After a tearful reunion between Tony and Purrloin, Dino agrees to help his younger brother and the group sets out to rescue Purrloin from the Liepard. The group eventually confronts the Liepard and a fierce Pokémon battle breaks out. Ash and his Pokémon work together with Dino and Tony to defeat the wild Pokémon and rescue Purrloin.
