As he explores, Cilan comes across a young girl named Mimi, who is having trouble getting her Pidove to fly properly. Cilan offers to help, and immediately begins working with Pidove to improve its flying skills. With Cilan's help, Pidove is soon soaring through the air with ease, much to Mimi's delight. Cilan is pleased with himself for being able to help out, and continues on his journey through the gym.

As he makes his way through the different areas, Cilan learns about the different types of flying type Pokemon, as well as the different techniques that are used in air battles. He even gets to witness a few battles firsthand, and is impressed by the skill and agility of the trainers and their Pokemon.

Finally, Cilan arrives at Skyla's office, where she invites him to have a battle with her. Cilan is hesitant at first, as he knows that Skyla is a skilled trainer and he doesn't want to embarrass himself. However, Skyla convinces him to give it a try, and soon they are engaged in a fierce battle.

The battle is intense, with both trainers and their Pokemon giving it their all. Cilan impresses Skyla with his knowledge and tactics, but ultimately it is Skyla who emerges victorious. Cilan isn't too disappointed, however, as he knows that he has learned a lot from the experience and has become a better trainer because of it.

As the episode comes to a close, Cilan bids farewell to Skyla and her gym, feeling inspired and excited about his next adventures. He knows that he has a lot to learn and experience in the world of Pokemon, but he is ready and willing to take on whatever challenges come his way.
