Pokemon the Series Season 16 Episode 12 New Places... Familiar Faces!

Ash, his friends, and their Pokemon continue their journey through the Unova region in Pokemon the Series season 16 episode 12: New Places... Familiar Faces!. In this episode, the group decides to take a break from traveling and enjoy some time in a nearby town.

As they explore the town, they encounter several familiar faces, including Iris's mentor, Drayden. Drayden is the former Gym Leader of Opelucid City and a Dragon-type Pokemon expert. He informs Ash and his friends that a powerful trainer is currently visiting the town and has been challenging local trainers to battles.

Excited by the opportunity to face a strong opponent, Ash and his friends set out to find this trainer. Along the way, they bump into another familiar face, Trip. Trip is a skilled Pokemon photographer and rival of Ash's who they first met in Nimbasa City.

During their reunion, Trip challenges Ash to a battle which Ash gladly accepts. As they battle, Ash shows off his skills by using some new Pokemon he caught since their last encounter. Trip is impressed by Ash's progress and they both express excitement for their next battle.

After the battle, the group finally meets the powerful trainer they have been searching for, Alder. Alder is the former Champion of the Unova region and is known for being an extremely strong trainer. Alder agrees to battle Ash and his friends but only after they have passed a test of strength.

Alder leads them to a nearby mountain where they must climb to reach the top. The climb requires immense strength and endurance, but Ash and his friends power through and make it to the top. Impressed by their strength and determination, Alder agrees to battle them.

The battle is intense and both sides showcase their strongest Pokemon. However, Ash and his friends are able to come out on top and defeat Alder. Alder congratulates them on their victory and acknowledges their potential as powerful trainers.

As the episode ends, Ash and his friends bid farewell to the familiar faces they encountered and continue their journey through the Unova region. They are excited for the challenges and adventures that await them on their journey.
