Ep 28. Cilan and the Case of the Purrloin Witness!

Ash, Iris and Cilan are traveling to the next Pokemon Gym when they hear a loud commotion coming from the nearby town. Upon arriving, they find out that a valuable golden statue has been stolen from the local museum and a Purrloin is the only witness to the crime. Cilan becomes excited about solving the mystery and takes on the case.

The group goes to the museum to try and gather more information about the theft. While there, they run into the curator of the museum who tells them that the stolen statue is known as the “Golden Harvest” and that it has been in the museum's possession for many years. Cilan starts to gather clues and decides to interview several townspeople who might have seen something.

The first person Cilan talks to is an old woman who often sits by the river. She tells Cilan that she saw a Purrloin running from the museum around the time of the theft. Cilan thanks the woman for the information and heads back to the museum to see if he can talk to the Purrloin.

At the museum, the group discovers that the Purrloin is being held in a cage. They ask the museum curator if they can speak with the Purrloin, but he tells them that it's impossible because the Purrloin has already been interrogated by the police. However, the group manages to sneak into the cage to try and get some information from the Purrloin.

The Purrloin is initially resistant to talking to them, but after some convincing, it tells them that it saw a person in a black hoodie take the “Golden Harvest” and run out of the museum. The group realizes that they need to find the suspect and bring them to justice.

The group decides to split up to cover more ground. Ash and Iris go to the market to try and find someone who might have seen the suspect, while Cilan goes to the police station to see if he can get any further information.

At the police station, Cilan learns that there have been several similar thefts in other towns. The thief in each case wears a black hoodie and steals valuable items. Cilan starts to put the puzzle pieces together and realizes that they are dealing with a serial thief.

Meanwhile, Ash and Iris meet a group of children who tell them that they saw a person in a black hoodie near the river at the time of the theft. The group rushes to the river and finds a mysterious figure walking away from the scene. They give chase but lose the person in the woods.

Cilan re-joins the group and they realize that they need a plan to catch the thief. They decide to use the “Golden Harvest” as bait to lure the thief back to the museum. They set up a trap and wait for the thief to arrive.

After a few tense moments, the thief shows up and tries to steal the statue again. However, the group is ready and they manage to subdue the thief and turn them over to the police. The thief is revealed to be an art collector who was looking to add the “Golden Harvest” to their collection.

With the case solved, the group continues on their journey to the next Pokemon Gym. Cilan is happy to have solved the mystery and Ash and Iris are impressed with his detective skills. The episode ends with the group walking into the sunset, ready for their next adventure.
