Kye introduces the group to his mentor, Gurkinn, who is a master of aura and the grandfather of Korrina, the gym leader in Shalour City. Gurkinn explains that the legendary Pokémon Kye is searching for is called Diancie, and that it has the ability to control the aura storm.

As the storm continues to rage outside, Ash and his friends decide to help Kye and Gurkinn in their search for Diancie. They explore the cave and come across various obstacles, including a group of wild Pokémon that have been affected by the aura storm.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket has also been caught up in the aura storm and are trying to find a way out of the cave. They come across Diancie and decide to capture it in order to impress their boss.

As Ash and his friends continue their search, they are eventually led to Diancie's location. However, they are ambushed by Team Rocket, who are also after Diancie. In the ensuing battle, Diancie's powers go out of control, causing the aura storm to intensify even further.
