Pokemon the Series Season 18 Episode 10 The Green, Green Grass Types of Home!
- April 11, 2015
Ash, Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie continue their journey to Santalune City, but decide to rest for a bit in a nearby forest. While exploring, they come across a group of wild Grass-Type Pokémon who are happily playing in the lush greenery.
As they watch, they notice that one of the Pokémon, a Chespin, seems to be lagging behind the others and not participating in the games. They soon meet a young girl named Penelope who informs them that Chespin has been feeling down lately because it doesn't have a proper home.
Penelope explains that she is part of a group that helps rehabilitate abandoned and neglected Pokémon, but they are currently struggling to keep up with the demand for their services. The group is working on building a new sanctuary for the Pokémon, but they need help gathering materials.
Feeling sympathetic, Ash and his friends offer to help. They spend the day gathering various materials such as logs, rocks, and vines, and work together to build several habitats for the different types of Grass-Type Pokémon.
As they work, they learn more about Penelope and the struggles she and her group face as they try to care for neglected Pokémon. They also bond with Chespin, who opens up and begins to play with the other Pokémon.
Once the habitats are finished, the group celebrates with a picnic in the grassy clearing. As they eat and chat, they notice that Chespin has disappeared. Worried, they search for the small Pokémon and eventually find it in a nearby clearing. Chespin has made a small den for itself out of twigs, leaves, and other natural materials.
The group is impressed with Chespin's creative solution and compliment it on a job well done. Penelope realizes that Chespin just needed a little bit of encouragement and praise to feel confident enough to build a home for itself.
As the sun begins to set, Ash and his friends say goodbye to Penelope and her group and continue their journey. They reflect on the day, feeling happy that they were able to help the struggling Pokémon and make new friends along the way.
The episode ends with a shot of Chespin and the other Pokémon playing happily in their new homes, surrounded by the lush greenery of the forest.
