In the first episode of Psychobitches, titled "Pilot," viewers are introduced to the concept of the show: famous historical women portrayed as modern day therapists offering unconventional advice to modern women.

The episode begins with the therapist Mary Shelley, author of Frankenstein, discussing her own tumultuous love life before her first client arrives. We then meet Amanda, a modern day woman struggling to find love and facing constant rejection from men. Mary Shelley begins to offer her outlandish advice, comparing Amanda's situation to that of Frankenstein's monster, and suggesting that she become more like a monster herself.

Next up is Boudica, the fierce warrior queen who led an uprising against the Roman Empire in ancient Britain. She is portrayed as a no-nonsense, blunt therapist who does not shy away from using violent metaphors to describe Amanda's love life. She suggests that Amanda stop bending over backwards for men and start acting more like a warrior.

Following Boudica is the celebrated artist Frida Kahlo, who not only offers Amanda advice on love, but also on self-expression and creativity. She tells Amanda to embrace her flaws and use them to create something beautiful, much like how Kahlo painted herself with her physical disabilities.

Finally, the episode concludes with the Greek goddess Aphrodite, who appears to Amanda in a dream. She advises Amanda to stop looking for love and instead focus on self-love, encouraging her to take a sensual bath and indulge in her own pleasures.

Throughout the episode, Amanda is skeptical and occasionally frustrated with the advice given to her, but ultimately begins to embrace some of the unconventional methods suggested by the psychobitches. The show is a mix of comedy and surrealism, using historical figures to offer fresh perspectives on modern day problems.
