In the second episode of season one of Race to the Center of the Earth, titled "Back Breaker," the four teams continue their journey through South America towards the unknown destination at the center of the earth. However, it's not just the extreme terrain and difficult challenges that are weighing on the competitors - tensions also begin to rise among team members.

One team, made up of two friends and two strangers, struggles to work together as one member suffers from a back injury that threatens to slow them down. Meanwhile, another team faces its own inner conflict as its leader becomes increasingly frustrated with his teammates' perceived lack of effort.

As the teams undertake a grueling hike through the Andes, they also must navigate treacherous river rapids, a climb through a cave system, and the challenge of finding food and shelter in the harsh wilderness. Each team is desperate to gain an advantage over the others, but at what cost?

Throughout the episode, viewers are given an inside look at the personal struggles and motivations driving each team member, as well as the teamwork and collaboration required to successfully complete the challenges. As the stakes continue to rise, it's clear that the competition is about more than just winning - it's about pushing oneself to the limit and proving what one is truly capable of.
