The Range Rider is a western series that aired in the late 1950s. It tells the story of two heroes, known as the Range Rider and Dick West, who ride from town to town, bringing justice to the wild west. In season 1 episode 7, titled "Cherokee Round up", the two friends are called upon to help a Cherokee tribe.

The episode begins with the Range Rider and Dick West riding into the small town of Cherokee. They have been hired by the Cherokee tribal council to help them round up their wild horses. The horses have been running wild in the hills and causing havoc for the Cherokee people.

The Range Rider and Dick West meet with Chief Tall Bear and his council to discuss the plan. Tall Bear explains that the horses are too fast and too wild for his tribe to catch. He hopes that the Range Rider and Dick West can help them.

As they discuss the plan, a group of white men ride by, led by a man named Hank. Hank is the local rancher and he has his eye on the Cherokee land. He plans to capture the wild horses himself and use them for his own ranch. He warns the Range Rider and Dick West to stay out of his way.

The two friends decide to help the Cherokee tribe and start their plan. They divide the horses into small groups and chase them down the hills. It's a difficult task, made even harder by Hank and his men, who are also trying to capture the horses.

The Range Rider and Dick West manage to catch a few of the horses and bring them back to the tribal council. They are met with cheers from the Cherokee people, who are grateful for their help. However, their victory is short-lived as Hank and his men come into town with a plan of their own.

Hank tells the Cherokee council that he has a solution to their wild horse problem. He plans to use his own trained horses to round up the wild ones. The council is hesitant, but Hank convinces them that his plan is the best solution.

The Range Rider and Dick West become suspicious of Hank's plan and start to investigate. They discover that Hank plans to capture all of the wild horses and sell them to the highest bidder. His plan is not to help the Cherokee tribe, but to make himself rich.

The two friends confront Hank and a fight breaks out. It's a tense and dangerous situation, but the Range Rider and Dick West manage to come out on top. They save the wild horses and return them to the Cherokee tribe.

The episode ends with the Cherokee people thanking the Range Rider and Dick West for their help. Chief Tall Bear tells them that they will always be welcome in Cherokee and that they are now considered honorary members of the tribe.

"Cherokee Round up" is a classic episode of the Range Rider. It's full of action, suspense, and a great message about helping others. It's also a testament to the strength and resilience of the Cherokee people and their relationship with the land and animals. Fans of the western genre will love this episode and the entire series.
