Ep 2. ...... that wasn't funny.

After being transported to the real world, fictional characters from various anime, manga and video games have been wreaking havoc in the human world. Meteora, a character from a game and a representative of the fictional world, is trying to collect all the characters and return them back to their original worlds. In episode 2, titled "......that wasn't funny," she meets her counterpart from the anime "Sword Art Online," Selesia.

Selesia is struggling with the fact that she is no longer in her world, and her frustration is heightened when she discovers that her creator, Takashi Matsubara, is also in the real world. She confronts him about the decision to bring her to the real world and expresses her desire to return to her own world. However, Takashi tells her that he had no control over the situation and that he too is trying to figure out the reason behind their sudden transportation.

Meanwhile, Sota Mizushino, a high school student and avid fan of anime, is struggling to come to terms with the fact that he is now in close proximity to his favorite fictional characters. He is especially affected by the presence of Meteora, who he believes is the most beautiful character he has ever seen. However, his meeting with her is cut short when his classmate, Marine, interrupts and takes him away.

As the episode progresses, the group learns about the existence of a powerful being known as the "Military Uniform Princess," who is also from a fictional world. They speculate that she may be behind their transportation to the real world and decide to track her down. Selesia, Meteora, and the others begin their search for the Military Uniform Princess, but their efforts prove to be unsuccessful.

The episode concludes with Sota receiving a message from someone claiming to be his favorite anime character, Gunpuku no Himegimi. The message invites him to a meeting where they will discuss the current situation and figure out a way to return everyone back to their original worlds.
