Ep 8. I CHOSE this way of life.

As a result of their conversation, Selesia becomes even more motivated to fight for her own life and those around her.

On the other hand, Rui, the creator of the mecha character, Gigas Machina, chooses to isolate himself because he wanted to focus on developing his creation. But his selfish choice had caused him to lose track of the outside world and miss the important processes of life. Rui's self-isolation leads to introspection and self-evaluation, allowing him to reconcile with his estranged mentor, Takashi, who had once warned him about the dangers of shutting himself off from the world.

In the second half of the episode, a new character, Mamika, is introduced, having crossed over from her world as a young magical girl. Mamika is sought out by Mirokuji, another character who appears to be from a darker universe with a penchant for violence. He wants to recruit Mamika to his side since her character radiates a sense of purity and justice. Surprisingly, Mamika disagrees with Mirokuji's methods and chooses to befriend the other characters instead. Her choice to follow her own ideals and not be swayed by others is contrasted with Mirokuji's willingness to follow the trends set in his world, even in this new world he has entered.

Finally, the episode culminates in a tense showdown between the characters, leading to the revelation of the true intentions of the Military Uniform Princess, as well as her relationship with one of the creators. This leads to an even greater understanding of the interconnectivity of the fictional and real worlds and the various motivations of each character.

"I CHOSE this way of life" is a thought-provoking episode, exploring deeper themes of choice, motivation, and identity. The episode's focus on character development and relationships lead to a fascinating exploration of the complex web of connections between the fictional characters and their creators in the real world.
