Ep 101. Episode 101

Safe House is a British crime drama series that follows ex-police officer Robert (played by Christopher Eccleston) and his wife Katy (played by Marsha Thomason) as they open up their home as a safe house for people who are in danger. In episode 101, we are introduced to the main characters and the premise of the show.

Robert and Katy live in a secluded house in the Lake District, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. They have had a troubled past and are trying to start afresh. Robert used to work in the police force but after a traumatic incident, he was unable to continue his job. Katy works as a teacher and the couple has two children.

One day, Robert is contacted by his former colleague Mark (played by Paterson Joseph) who asks for his help in protecting a family who is in danger. The family - father David (played by Jason Merrells), mother Ali (played by Nicola Stephenson) and their two children - are being hunted by a dangerous criminal who wants them dead. Robert and Katy agree to take the family in and keep them safe until the danger passes.

The family is terrified and shaken by the series of events that have led them to seek refuge in a safe house. Robert and Katy assure them that they will do everything in their power to keep them safe. However, tensions run high as the family realizes that they cannot leave the safe house and are essentially prisoners in their own home.

Robert and Mark work together to try and find out who is after the family and why. They are aided by police officer Emma (played by Zoe Tapper) who is investigating a series of seemingly unrelated crimes in the area. As they dig deeper, they uncover a sinister plot and realize that the family is in more danger than they initially thought.

Meanwhile, Katy tries to make the family feel more comfortable in the safe house. She is particularly concerned about the children who are traumatized by the events that have transpired. Katy tries to provide a sense of normalcy by cooking meals and playing games with them.

As the days pass, tensions rise in the safe house. The family is anxious to leave and return to their normal lives but they are not sure when it will be safe to do so. Robert and his team have to work quickly to uncover the truth before it's too late.

Safe House season 1 episode 101 sets up the premise of the show and introduces us to the various characters. It is a tense and gripping episode that sets the tone for the rest of the season. The scenery is beautiful and adds to the eerie atmosphere of the show. The acting is top-notch and the plot keeps you guessing until the very end.
