Sherri is an American television sitcom that aired on the Lifetime network from October 2009 to December 2009. The show was created by Sherri Shepherd, who also starred in the show alongside Elizabeth Regen, Tammy Townsend, Kali Rocha, and Michael Boatman. The show was produced by ABC Studios. Sherri revolves around the life of Sherri Robinson (played by Sherri Shepherd), a newly divorced single mother who is trying to balance her career, her son, and her love life. Sherri works as a host of a daytime talk show called "The Newlywed Game." Her ex-husband Kevin (played by Malcolm-Jamal Warner) is a successful businessman who wants to reconcile with her, but Sherri is not interested in getting back together. To make matters worse, Sherri's overbearing mother, Clarice (played by Roz Ryan), always tries to interfere in her life.
