  • February 5, 2012

Kyoko is on cloud nine after getting to know that Kanae is also in town and asks her if they could meet up. As she walks through the streets, Kyoko overhears a conversation discussing an upcoming audition for the role of Momiji, a character from Sho's favourite manga. Her curiosity piques as she wonders if Sho has anything to do with it. She then finds out that Sho's agency is behind the audition and decides to give it a shot.

Meanwhile, Ren is frustrated with the fact that he cannot seem to shake Kyoko off his mind and recalls the time he had cautioned her about the entertainment industry. Back at the audition, Kyoko is asked to play the role of the villainous Mio instead, but she finds it challenging to comprehend the character's motives. However, a chance experience leads her to understand Mio's innermost feelings, and she delivers a striking performance that stuns the judges.

Later, Ren reveals to Yashiro that he is enamoured with Kyoko's acting talent, that he never got the chance to explore Shojo manga characters as they were alien to him. Yashiro chides him for the same and tells him that he is aware that he is interested in Kyoko.

Kyoko is ecstatic as she learns that she has cleared the audition and is now a part of the cast that will put on the production. She then overhears another girl talking about her and how Sho had disclosed that she was the one who had inspired him to pursue his career. Kyoko pretends not to be affected by this revelation, but she becomes consumed with self-loathing and doubts herself. Ren's words from their previous meeting echo in her mind, and she decides to give the role her all regardless of what Sho may have divulged to others.
