SpongeBob SquarePants, From the Beginning season 1 episode 17 features two episodes - Arrgh! and Rock Bottom.
In Arrgh!, Mr. Krabs tells his crew a story about the Flying Dutchman stealing his first dime, claiming that it was his lucky dime. SpongeBob and Patrick then become determined to find the treasure of the Flying Dutchman to retrieve the lucky dime. The duo goes on a treasure hunt and eventually find the treasure, but are captured by the Flying Dutchman who demands that they give him his treasure back. SpongeBob and Patrick plead with him to spare their lives, telling him that they found his underwear, which the Flying Dutchman is embarrassed about. The Flying Dutchman, who has never been complimented before, agrees to spare their lives and gives them his treasure, which turns out to just be a bunch of rubbish.
In Rock Bottom, SpongeBob and Patrick are returning home from a jellyfishing trip, but get on the wrong bus and end up in a strange town called Rock Bottom. The town is dark, eerie, and inhabited by strange-looking fish that speak in a language similar to English, but with different tones that SpongeBob cannot understand. SpongeBob tries to find a way back home, but due to the town's odd rules and transportation system, he is unable to do so. He repeatedly misses the bus back to Bikini Bottom and gets stuck in Rock Bottom after a series of unfortunate events. SpongeBob becomes increasingly frustrated and scared, but with Patrick's help, he manages to finally catch the right bus and return home.
Arrgh! and Rock Bottom are two hilarious episodes that demonstrate the humor and creativity of SpongeBob SquarePants. In Arrgh!, SpongeBob and Patrick's silly antics and their hilarious interactions with the Flying Dutchman provide plenty of laughs. Meanwhile, Rock Bottom is a clever parody of the Twilight Zone and other classic sci-fi shows, with its creepy atmosphere and strange fish inhabitants. Both episodes showcase the wonderful world-building and clever writing that have made SpongeBob SquarePants such a beloved classic.
