Ep 16. Dunces and Dragons

In the episode "Dunces and Dragons" of SpongeBob SquarePants, From the Beginning season 2, SpongeBob and Patrick are transported to the medieval times. The episode starts with SpongeBob and Patrick playing a board game called "Dragon's Lair" in SpongeBob's house. As they play the game, lightning strikes and transports them to a time and place that they had never seen before.

SpongeBob and Patrick are impressed by the knights and the arena and wish to participate in the tournament, but they don't know how to joust properly. However, they are allowed to participate in the tournament as squires, which means they have to assist the knight that they are assigned to.

The excitement of the tournament, combined with the medieval setting, is quite thrilling for SpongeBob and Patrick. Even though they are just squires, they are thoroughly enjoying themselves.

However, during the tournament, there is an accident, and SpongeBob and Patrick end up being transported back through time to medieval Bikini Bottom, referred to as "Bikini Bottomshire" during this time. The medieval Bikini Bottom is different from the one they know, and they end up being accused of a crime they did not commit.

SpongeBob and Patrick soon realize that they are in a world where anyone with an IQ higher than a barnacle is considered a genius. As they navigate through the medieval era, they realize that they are not equipped to survive in such a world.

They soon discover that the crime they were accused of is stealing the king's crown. SpongeBob and Patrick know that they are innocent, but the only way to prove it is to go on a quest that will challenge their abilities.

The quest takes them through dangerous terrains and deadly encounters, but they finally reach the point where they have to face the one who stole the crown. They discover that the real thief is someone they did not expect, and are able to prove their innocence. This act of bravery earns them the respect of the people and King Krabs.
