Ep 32. The Original Fry Cook / Night Light

SpongeBob SquarePants, From the Beginning season 2 episode 32 is titled "The Original Fry Cook / Night Light". The episode is a compilation of two different storylines.

In the first storyline, "The Original Fry Cook", Mr. Krabs reminisces about his original fry cook, Jim. SpongeBob becomes curious about Jim and asks Mr. Krabs to share some memories. Mr. Krabs tells SpongeBob about how Jim used to cook Krabby Patties and how he was the best fry cook in Bikini Bottom. Mr. Krabs then decides to locate Jim and bring him back to the Krusty Krab to make Krabby Patties again.

SpongeBob and Mr. Krabs go on a journey to find Jim and finally locate him living in a shack near a beach. Jim is initially reluctant to return to the Krusty Krab but changes his mind after seeing SpongeBob's enthusiasm for cooking. Jim returns to the Krusty Krab and begins cooking Krabby Patties once again, attracting old customers back to the restaurant.

However, things do not go as planned when Jim starts to change the recipe of Krabby Patties to his own liking. This angers Mr. Krabs, as he does not want to veer from the original recipe. SpongeBob steps in and convinces Jim to make Krabby Patties the original way, bringing back the old customers and saving the Krusty Krab.

In the second storyline, "Night Light", SpongeBob is afraid of the dark and keeps turning on the lights in his house. This causes his electricity bill to skyrocket, prompting Squidward to make fun of him. SpongeBob tries to cure his fear by visiting various shops in Bikini Bottom that sell night lights.

However, none of the night lights seem to work for SpongeBob, and his fear continues. Things take a turn for the worse when he visits the Krusty Krab at night and accidentally causes a power outage, leaving the restaurant in complete darkness. SpongeBob, thinking on his feet, creates makeshift night lights out of condiments and manages to save the day.

Overall, "The Original Fry Cook / Night Light" is a fun and heartwarming episode that shows the importance of sticking to what works and facing one's fears. It features some great comedic moments and endearing characters, making it a must-watch for any SpongeBob SquarePants fan.
