Dawson City's claim to fame is the brief Klondike Gold Rush at the turn of the 20th century. Every year tens of thousands of tourists flock to town to soak in the community's unique culture and history. The COVID pandemic put a stop to this thriving industry which is still dealing with the repercussions of the pandemic.
