Survivor Season 4 Episode 4 The Winds Twist

As the tribes continue to navigate the harsh conditions of the Marquesas Islands, tensions rise in episode four of Survivor season four, titled "The Winds Twist."

The episode kicks off with the Maraamu tribe facing the aftermath of their decision to vote out Gabriel in the previous episode. Boston Rob, who played a key role in orchestrating Gabriel's elimination, is feeling the heat from his tribemates and is on the outs with most of the tribe. Over at the Rotu tribe, morale is high after their win in the last immunity challenge. Tammy, a member of the tribe, suggests that they ration their food, but her suggestion is met with some pushback.

The episode's reward challenge involves a grueling obstacle course, with the first tribe to finish earning a basket of farm-fresh produce. Both tribes put up a good fight, but in the end, it's Rotu who takes home the prize.

Back at camp, the tribe members bask in their victory and divide up the spoils. However, the mood quickly soured when Neleh discovers that someone has taken the rest of the bananas without asking. The tribe members try to uncover who the culprit is, with Kathy coming under suspicion due to her untrustworthiness in past challenges.

The immunity challenge is a test of endurance, with each tribe member having to hold onto a pole suspended over the water. Rotu gets off to a strong start, with John outlasting everyone on Maraamu's team. However, the tide quickly turns, and in a surprising upset, Maraamu pulls off a win.

With Rotu heading to tribal council, alliances are put to the test. Tammy's suggestion to ration food has put her on the outs with some tribal members, and Zoe's poor performance in the immunity challenge puts her at risk. However, it's John who ultimately becomes the fourth person voted out of Survivor season four, leaving Rotu with a smaller margin of error moving forward.

As the episode comes to an end, tensions continue to simmer at both camps.
