The Bill is a British police drama series that follows the day-to-day operations of Sun Hill Police Station, a fictional precinct in London. Season 25 episode 64 is titled Invisible Man.

The episode opens with PC Yvonne Hemmingway and PC Tony Stamp investigating an assault on a homeless man, who claims he was attacked by an invisible man. As they try to piece together the events surrounding the assault, they discover that the victim has a history of mental illness and drug abuse, which leads them to question whether the assault actually took place or if it was just a product of his delusions.

Meanwhile, DI Neil Manson and DC Grace Dasari are investigating a burglary at a local art gallery. The burglars initially seem to have made off with nothing of value, but as they investigate further, they discover that a priceless painting has been stolen. Their investigation leads them to a local auction house, where they believe the painting will be sold.

As the two investigations begin to converge, the police are led on a chase through London as they try to catch the burglars and recover the stolen painting. The chase involves car crashes, a foot chase through the streets and alleyways of London, and a shootout between the police and the burglars. Eventually, the police capture the suspects and recover the stolen painting.

Throughout the episode, the personal lives of the characters also come into play. PC Hemmingway struggles with her feelings for her ex-husband, who is now in a relationship with her best friend. Meanwhile, DI Manson struggles to balance his job with his family life, as his wife is pressuring him to spend more time at home with their young daughter.

In the end, the two investigations are wrapped up and the stolen painting is returned to the gallery. The police learn that the assault on the homeless man was indeed real, and they are able to identify and arrest the suspect. As the episode comes to a close, the characters are left to reflect on their personal struggles and the challenges of life as a police officer.
