The Day I Almost Died is a documentary television show that shows accidents and other traumatic events that led to a brush with death with their victims. It is not only the victims who are interviewed but also doctors, witnesses and first responders. The Day I Almost Died features miracle survivals of events such as sitting too close to the motor of a boat, being sucked in and surviving it. It is a show that shows that it is possible to survive that which was once thought impossible to survive. Simultaneously, it is a harrowing television show that intends to help the watcher to think before committing similar behaviors. The Day I Almost Died shows that miracles can and do happen every day. Yet it also demonstrates that someone else attempting the same behavior may not be as lucky as the featured survivors. The events being featured are true and not in any way fictional.
