Ep 8. Salvage

Salvage is the eighth episode of The Expanse's first season. In this episode, the crew of the Rocinante, Holden, Miller, Amos, and Naomi, find themselves in a tough spot. They are running low on fuel, air, and water and decide to search for a derelict ship that could give them much-needed supplies.

The Rocinante crew starts off with two salvage ships and divides into teams. Holden and Naomi take one ship, while Miller and Amos take the other. They soon locate a ship that looks like it has been abandoned for some time. As they dock with it, they discover that it's an old Martian naval ship, the Donnager's sister ship, Scopuli.

As they explore the Scopuli, they realize that the ship was attacked by another vessel and abandoned. The crew retraces the steps of the previous crew and finds the key to locating the attackers. Along the way, they find a hidden stash of valuable medicine and supplies that come in handy. However, as they go deeper, they discover something else that could be their demise -- data that suggests a stealth ship is coming for them.

With this new information, the Rocinante crew rushes to get back to their ship and leave before the stealth ship arrives. But as they're about to leave, the ship arrives, shooting at them and causing chaos. The crew gets split up, and they all find themselves in different parts of the Scopuli.

As they try to find each other and stay alive, they realize that they're not alone on the ship. There's a creature that's been plaguing the ship for some time, and it's attracted to them. They have to use all their resources and work together to get rid of the creature and escape the ship alive.

Throughout this episode, we see the characters grow and build relationships with one another. Holden and Naomi continue to work together and depend on each other's skills, while Miller and Amos bond over their shared experiences. The crew also learns to trust one another in increasingly dangerous situations, and they come to rely on the strengths of their teammates.

Overall, Salvage is a thrilling episode that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats. It's an action-packed adventure that shows the crew's resourcefulness, teamwork, and bravery. It's a great addition to an already fantastic season.
