Back at the cabin, Ezra and Ava manage to catch Max and Zara stealing from another camper's drawer. When they confront the duo, they deny having anything to do with Maudie's missing locket and accuse her of framing them. However, the evidence is stacked against them, and they eventually admit to taking the locket.

With the mystery finally solved, the InBESTigators confront Emily about her actions. She admits to taking the photos but insists that she never intended to steal anything. The InBESTigators agree to keep her secret, but warn her that she needs to be more careful in the future.

In the end, Maudie is reunited with her locket, and the InBESTigators have another successful case under their belts. The episode ends with the group reflecting on their summer camp experience and feeling proud of how they worked together to solve the mystery.
