Ep 2. The Magmafying Past

Meanwhile, a man named Herman is visited by a creature known as "The Crumpet," who informs him that he has been chosen to enter a portal to the past. Herman reluctantly accepts, but after entering the portal, he finds himself trapped in a prehistoric world. Here, he meets a caveman named Grob, who is in possession of a powerful device called the "Magmafier." Herman convinces Grob to let him use the device, which magnifies objects and creatures to extreme sizes.

However, Herman's use of the Magmafier has unforeseen consequences, as he accidentally causes the death of a giant prehistoric creature and is subsequently pursued by its offspring. He and Grob flee back through the portal to the present day, where Herman discovers that he has brought the prehistoric creature offspring with him. Chaos ensues as the creature wreaks havoc on the town, and Herman must find a way to stop it before it destroys everything in its path.

As with the first episode, "The Magmafying Past" is a surreal and unpredictable experience that leaves viewers questioning what they just watched. The animation style is unique and visually stunning, with a mix of stop-motion and puppetry techniques used to create the strange and otherworldly creatures that populate the episode.

Overall, "The Magmafying Past" is an excellent addition to The Shivering Truth season 1, offering a weird and entertaining journey through time and space.
