She confronts the bullies' leader, Chen Kai, and breaks down in front of him, demanding that he and his friends acknowledge the harm they caused the girl. In the end, her confrontation leads to some type of reconciliation, which provides closure for the ghost.

Meanwhile, Xiao Zhen's parents are struggling to make ends meet, and they are considering selling their home to a developer. Xiao Zhen's psychic abilities and her involvement with the lost spirit convinced her parents not to sell their home, and this allows Xiao Zhen to continue her spiritual pursuits in the familiar environment of their home.
