The Teenage Psychic is a Taiwanese drama series that follows a young girl named Xie Ya Zhen who possesses psychic abilities. In season 2 episode 4, titled Episode 4, Ya Zhen struggles to balance her supernatural abilities with her regular teenage life.

The episode begins with Ya Zhen attending a school ceremony, where she is tasked with giving a speech. As she stands in front of the crowd, she begins to feel overwhelmed by the emotions of her classmates, making it difficult for her to concentrate on her speech. Despite this, she manages to deliver a touching message about the importance of staying true to oneself.

After the ceremony, Ya Zhen's friend Teng Jiao Ni approaches her for help. Jiao Ni has a crush on a boy in their class, but is unsure if he feels the same way about her. Ya Zhen agrees to use her psychic powers to try and read the boy's feelings, but warns Jiao Ni that it may not be as simple as it seems.

As Ya Zhen begins to focus on the boy in question, she is suddenly interrupted by a vision of her grandmother. Ya Zhen's grandmother passed away before she was born, but has continued to appear to her throughout her life as a guiding force. In the vision, her grandmother warns Ya Zhen of an impending danger that could harm her psychic abilities.

Ya Zhen is left shaken by the vision, but tries to push it to the back of her mind as she continues to help Jiao Ni. She manages to read the boy's thoughts and discovers that he does in fact have feelings for Jiao Ni. Overjoyed, Jiao Ni rushes off to confess her own feelings to him.

As Ya Zhen heads home, she begins to experience strange sensations in her head and body. Her psychic abilities suddenly disappear, leaving her feeling lost and powerless. She seeks comfort from her mother, who reveals that she too has psychic powers but chose to suppress them in order to live a regular life.

Despite her mother's words of encouragement, Ya Zhen struggles to come to terms with the loss of her powers. She confides in her grandmother's spirit, who appears to her again in a vision. Her grandmother reminds her that her powers do not define her, and that she still has the ability to make a difference in the world without them.

Buoyed by her grandmother's words, Ya Zhen begins to regain her sense of self-worth. She realizes that her powers were a gift, but not the only thing that makes her special. She returns to school and is met with cheers from her classmates, who have seen her speech on social media and are inspired by her message.

In the end, Ya Zhen's grandmother appears to her one last time to reassure her that she will always be with her, even if she cannot see her. Ya Zhen leaves the episode with a newfound sense of purpose and acceptance of herself, both as a psychic and as a teenager.

Overall, season 2 episode 4 of The Teenage Psychic offers a thoughtful exploration of what it means to have supernatural abilities at a young age, juxtaposed with the typical teenage experience of figuring out who you are and what you stand for. The show's beautiful cinematography and strong performances from its young cast make it a must-watch for anyone interested in coming-of-age stories with a supernatural twist.
