The Very Best of Will Ferrell is a comedy television show that showcases some of the funniest and wackiest skits that have been performed by the celebrated comedian. Season 1 Episode 2, titled Good Cop, Baby Cop, is one of the most hilarious episodes of the show that takes viewers on a rollercoaster ride of laughter and entertainment.

The episode begins with Will Ferrell and his co-star, Adam McKay, playing the roles of two cops - one is a no-nonsense detective, while the other is a bumbling fool. The duo is investigating a case where a drug lord has been kidnapping babies and holding them for ransom. However, before they can even start their investigation, they bicker and argue about who gets to be the "good cop" and who has to be the "baby cop."

As the skit progresses, Ferrell and McKay's characters jump from one comedic situation to another, including a classic musical interlude where they sing about their cop partnership and how they will "Get the bad guys, and look good doing it." They also find themselves in one of the most uncomfortable situations when they have to question a suspect who is a friend of Ferrell's character, to the point where they have to leave the room to discuss whether or not to arrest him.

One of the highlights of the skit is when the duo finally meet the drug lord who has been behind the baby kidnappings. Ferrell's character tries to intimidate the villain, while McKay's character has to hold the baby and therefore has no choice but to sweet-talk the criminal in his high-pitched baby voice. The contrast in their approach is just hilarious, and it becomes even more so when the drug lord cracks under the baby's charm.

Apart from the Good Cop, Baby Cop skit, the episode also includes some of Will Ferrell's most memorable performances in other skits. In one, he plays an over-the-top football coach who gives an overly motivational speech to his team, while in another he plays the character of Craig Buchanan, a motivational speaker who is incredibly passionate about his job. Both are equally sidesplitting and showcase Ferrell's incredible talent for comedy.

The episode also features some surprise guests who make appearances in some of the skits, including actor Alec Baldwin, who plays a business tycoon whom Ferrell tries to impress, and actor/art historian Charles "Chuck" Gaines, who plays a museum curator in a hilarious skit about an unconventional art exhibit.

Overall, The Very Best of Will Ferrell's Season 1 Episode 2, Good Cop, Baby Cop, is a must-watch for anyone who loves comedy. It is jam-packed with memorable skits that showcase Ferrell's incredible talent for making audiences laugh with his unique brand of humor. Whether you're a die-hard Will Ferrell fan or just looking for a good laugh, you won't want to miss this episode.
