The Voice Season 16 Episode 12 Live Cross Battles Part 1

The Voice is back with its sixteenth season, where talented singers from across the country compete to become the winner of the show and get a recording contract with a reputed record label. The show's premiere episode aired on February 25th, 2019, and till now, the show has been delivering some outstanding performances, which have left both the judges and the audience awestruck.
In the twelfth episode of the season, which is named "Live Cross Battles Part 1," the participants will face one of the most significant challenges in their journey on the show. The Live Cross Battles round consists of a new format, where the participants will compete with each other, irrespective of their team, in a series of duels. The judges will also have no prior knowledge of who is competing against whom, which will make the competition more exciting.
The episode will feature a total of sixteen duels, where each contestant will perform a song of their choice. The judges, consisting of Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend, will then vote for the singer they think performed better. The contestant with the most votes will move on to the next round, while the other participant will be eliminated from the competition.
The live cross battles round is also the last round before the live voting rounds start. Hence, the participants must give their best performances as this round is critical in determining their fate on the show.
In the first duel, country singer Andrew Sevener from Team Blake will compete against the soulful singer, Hannah Kay, from Team Kelly. Andrew will perform "Modern Day Bonnie and Clyde" by Travis Tritt, while Hannah will sing "Rock Steady" by Aretha Franklin.
The second duel will feature singer Celia Babini from Team Adam, singing "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri. She will take on the powerful singer, Karly Moreno, from Team Blake, who will perform "Down" by Marian Hill.
The third duel will be between the youngsters of the show, as sixteen-year-old Carter Lloyd Horne from Team Blake will compete against seventeen-year-old LiLi Joy from Team Adam. Carter will perform "Heartbreak Hotel" by Elvis Presley, while LiLi will give an electrifying performance of "Cool" by the Jonas Brothers.
The fourth duel will pit singer Lisa Ramey from Team Legend against singer Betsy Ade from Team Kelly. Lisa will perform "Beautiful Trauma" by Pink, while Betsy will sing "You Oughta Know" by Alanis Morissette.
The fifth duel will see the charismatic singer Rod Stokes from Team Kelly take on the powerful singer Gyth Rigdon from Team Blake. Rod will perform "When a Man Loves a Woman" by Percy Sledge, and Gyth will sing "Goodbye Time" by Blake Shelton.
The penultimate duel of the episode will feature singer Julian King from Team Legend and Matthew Johnson from Team Kelly. Julian will perform "I Can't Stop Loving You" by Ray Charles, while Matthew will sing "Who's Lovin' You" by the Jackson 5.
The final duel of the episode will feature a battle between the soulful singer Kim Cherry from Team Blake and the dynamic singer Shawn Sounds from Team Legend. Kim will perform "Waterfalls" by TLC, while Shawn will sing "Higher Love" by Steve Winwood.
The live cross battles are sure to be an exciting episode, as the participants bring their A-game to the stage and fight for a spot in the next round.
