Ep 6. Episode 6

Tuca & Bertie season 1 episode 6 is entitled "The Open House". Simone tells Tuca that she's setting herself up for disaster and that she'll never be able to make it in the world. This interaction causes Tuca to spiral and she becomes increasingly desperate for a job.

As the day goes on, the two friends become more and more anxious about their lives. Bertie decides to take some time alone to think about what she wants, while Tuca agrees to go on a date with a guy that she met at the open house. The date doesn't go well and Tuca ends up feeling worse than ever.

Later that night, the girls meet up to talk about their day. They reveal to each other how they're feeling and try to help each other out. Bertie realizes that she loves her life with Speckle and doesn't want to change anything. Tuca, on the other hand, realizes that she's been setting her goals too high and that she needs to take things one step at a time.

The episode ends with the two friends feeling better and looking forward to the future. The real estate agent from earlier in the episode appears again and tells Bertie that she's glad she's with Speckle because he seems like a great guy. Bertie realizes that she doesn't need anyone else's approval and feels confident in her choices once again.
