Ep 4. Sex Suit

In the fourth episode of the first season of the sci-fi comedy series Upload, titled "Sex Suit," we find Nathan and Nora having a conversation about virtual sex. Nora suggests that they try it themselves, and Nathan agrees.

Meanwhile, Nathan's funeral is scheduled to take place, and his girlfriend is gathering guests. She also reminds Ingrid that she needs to get Nathan's signature on a legal form to complete a business deal. Ingrid suggests that they should use Nathan's uploaded avatar to sign the form, but his girlfriend objects, saying that it wouldn't be legal.

Back in Lakeview, Nathan and Nora begin experimenting with virtual sex. They have some trouble adapting to the different environment and technical issues before finally getting into it. However, things turn awkward when Nathan ends up in a sexual fantasy he had in the past, which he's not ready to discuss with Nora.

Later, Nathan decides to hang out with the other Lakeview residents instead of spending time with Nora, which makes her feel left out and ignored. During his chat with his friend, Luke, Nathan notices that his avatar is wearing a suit that displays ads. Luke reveals that he has a "sex suit" which you put on while having virtual sex, and it enhances the experience by simulating physical sensations. Nathan is amazed and wants to try one for himself.

The next day, Nathan and Nora visit a high-end sex shop. They try on several sex suits before Nathan finds one that fits him perfectly. The shop assistant explains the different features and settings of the suit, emphasizing the importance of controlling the intensity levels so the wearer doesn't get overstimulated. They leave the shop excited to try it out.

Back in Lakeview, Nathan and Nora start to have virtual sex again, this time with Nathan wearing the sex suit. The experience is intense, and Nathan finds it challenging to keep himself under control. Nora accidentally raises the intensity level too high, causing Nathan to collapse. Nora panics and calls for help.

Elsewhere, Ingrid is trying to find a way to get Nathan's signature on the legal form when she discovers something suspicious about his death. She confronts Nathan's girlfriend, who gets defensive and eventually admits that she had a part in Nathan's death. Ingrid is shocked by the revelation, but she also sees an opportunity to use the situation to her advantage.

Back in Lakeview, Nathan recovers from his virtual sex mishap and decides to confront his girlfriend about what he's learned. Nora encourages him to speak his mind, and he does so forcefully. His girlfriend is surprised and unsure of how to respond. Nathan realizes that he needs to focus on his life in Lakeview and not his past relationships. He finally signs the form and completes the deal.

In the end, Nathan and Nora talk about what they've learned and how they can navigate their virtual relationship. They both agree that honesty and communication are vital and promise to be better. As the episode comes to a close, we're left wondering what other virtual adventures await them in Lakeview.
