Money in the Bank is the tenth and final episode of the first season of the WWE: Straight To The Top - The Money In The Bank Ladder Match Anthology. In this episode, we witness one of the most memorable RAW Money In The Bank Ladder Matches in the history of WWE.
The match features eight of the most talented superstars in the wrestling industry- Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston, Alex Riley, Evan Bourne, Alberto Del Rio, The Miz, R-Truth, and Jack Swagger. Each of them brings his unique style and strategy to the ring to secure the Money in the Bank briefcase and get a shot at the WWE Championship anytime they want.
The atmosphere in the arena is electrifying as the crowd cheers for their favorite wrestlers. The bell rings, and the match starts with all eight competitors trying to get their hands on the ladder. Rey Mysterio and Kofi Kingston are the first ones to make an attempt, and they both climb the ladder simultaneously. But, they are interrupted by The Miz and Alex Riley, who knock them down and take control of the match.
Evan Bourne, R-Truth, and Jack Swagger are quick to join the action, and we witness some jaw-dropping moments in the match, including Evan Bourne jumping off the ladder and hitting a Shooting Star Press on Jack Swagger. Alberto Del Rio, who has been watching the match from outside the ring, decides to make his move. He slides into the ring and attacks Rey Mysterio with a ladder. This gives him an opening to climb the ladder and secure the briefcase. The crowd boos as Alberto Del Rio is declared the winner of the match.
However, the celebration is short-lived as CM Punk, the current WWE Champion, walks out to the ring with his own Money in the Bank briefcase that he won earlier in the night. He teases Alberto Del Rio with the possibility of cashing in his contract right there and then. But, he decides against it and walks away, leaving the crowd on the edge of their seats.
The episode ends with a recap of some of the best moments from the match, and we see Alberto Del Rio celebrating his win backstage. This episode is a must-watch for all WWE fans, especially those who love ladder matches. The Money in the Bank Ladder Match July 17, 2011, is one of the best examples of WWE's high-flying, action-packed entertainment.
