Young & Hungry Season 5 Episode 15 Young & Mexico Part 1

Josh and Gabi are headed to Mexico! In the first part of this two-part episode, the duo is off to pump up their culinary skills at a popular cooking school in Mexico. While getting lost in the bustling streets of Mexico City, Gabi stresses about her lack of fluency in Spanish. However, Josh is quick to assure her that they will be fluent in no time. Things take an interesting turn when they meet Chef Julio, played by special guest-star Mario Lopez. Chef Julio is excited to show them the ropes of Mexican cuisine and takes them on a food tour of some of the city's most popular dishes.

Meanwhile, Yolanda is struggling to keep her boss Elliot's wedding planning on track, and Sofia finds herself feeling restless. In an effort to combat her boredom, she convinces the family she is staying with to take a spontaneous trip to Mexico City, landing herself in the same city as Josh and Gabi.

As the episode progresses, Josh and Gabi feel their skills improving under Chef Julio's watchful eye. However, their newfound confidence in the kitchen is tested when they are tasked with creating a unique dish to win over the sommelier at a fancy Mexican restaurant. Will they rise to the challenge or will their efforts fall short?

Back at home, Elliot's wedding planning hit a snag when his fiancé Alan's mother turns out to be a bit of a nightmare. Yolanda tries her best to smooth things over, but it seems like everything she does only makes things worse.

As the episode comes to a close, Josh and Gabi reflect on their experience in Mexico and the lessons they have learned. Sofia, on the other hand, seems to have a newfound sense of adventure and sets her sights on exploring more of the city.
