This is a mystery movie about a wealthy woman who is murdered in her own home. When a wealthy widow is discovered dead in her French manor house, Inspector Hanaud is put on the case. This widow was killed with an unusual weapon, a poisoned arrow. The Inspector is a determined and meticulous man who will hunt out each and every clue to find out who committed this ghastly crime.
The Inspector’s clues begin with the murder weapon. It is an antique arrow head that has been dipped in a poison from South America. Who had the motive and opportunity are questions to which he must find the answers.
