No Strings Attached

The American comedy No Strings attached is a film based on romance. It is all cantered on the lives of two good friends who made a covenant to have a romantic relationship with No Strings Attached, such that they would do so without genuinely falling in love. These two friends in their teens, Emma and Adam had been very good friends in the past but with Emma insisting, they could have nothing more than mere friendship existing between them despite their few romantic involvements. Emma did not want to have a serious relationship with him. Adam on the other hand was not at first comfortable with Emma's decision but got to accept it when he later on discovered his father was having an affair with his ex-girlfriend Vanessa. Adam was so disappointed at his father such that he had to consider not getting serious just like Emma.

However, despite their decisions not to get truly involved, along the line they both truly fell in love with each other. The challenges they faced during this period was that, they were not sure if things were going to work between them since from the very beginning they had both vowed not to genuinely fall in love nor get involved in any serious relationship with each other.

Other challenges they faced included pressure from work especially for Emma whose job at the hospital was quite demanding. Based on this again, she suggested they part ways finally but at that point in time, Adam had started developing true feelings for Emma and could not stand imagining Emma getting serious with another guy. He then started showering her with gifts in an attempt to win her love.

The story took a different turn when the two went out on a date on Valentine's Day and Emma got upset by the fact that Adam was professing love to her. Emma later on realized some weeks later that she wanted to be with Adam but all her attempts to reach him on the phone or going to look for him at his house failed. At the end, Emma and Adam who had vowed not to get involved in any commitment with each other, finally got married.

The actors and actresses in the film are well known for their talents in the American film industry. The two main characters being Natalie Portman who starred as Emma and Ashton Kutcher who played the role of Adam. The film was created by Elizabeth Meriwether, and directed by Ivan Reitman.
