Nun of That is a horror-comedy film released in 2008, directed by Richard Griffin and starring Sarah Nicklin, Alexandra Cipolla, and Shanette Wilson. The movie takes place in a fictional city called Port Beville, where a group of evil nuns are trying to take over the world. The film begins with a flashback to the 1950s, where a young girl is being initiated into the nunnery. The girl, who is the main antagonist of the film, is warned by the elder nuns that she must deny her desires and embrace celibacy to find salvation. When the young girl refuses to do so, she is banished from the nunnery, and the nuns perform a ritual on her, causing her to become an evil entity.

Fast-forward to the present day, and we see two detectives, Sister Kelly Wrath (Sarah Nicklin) and Sister Eulayla (Alexandra Cipolla), investigating a series of brutal murders in the city. The nuns of Port Beville are initially the prime suspects, but the detectives soon realize that there is more to the case than meets the eye.

As it turns out, the evil entity from the opening scene has returned to the city, and is now taking over the bodies of nuns and innocent civilians alike to build an army to take over the world. Sister Kelly and Sister Eulayla soon find themselves in the middle of a battle between good and evil, and with the help of a gun-toting badass nun named Sister Cindy (Shanette Wilson), they must stop the evil nuns from carrying out their diabolical plan.

One of the standout features of Nun of That is its blend of horror and comedy. Although the film is undeniably gruesome at times, there are also plenty of moments of levity and absurdity that keep the tone from becoming too heavy. The filmmakers clearly have a love for the genre, and there are nods to classic horror films throughout the movie, including a clever twist on the famous shower scene from Psycho.

Another strength of the movie is its cast. Sarah Nicklin and Alexandra Cipolla have great chemistry as the two detective nuns, with Nicklin in particular standing out as a tough-as-nails protagonist who is more than capable of holding her own in a fight. Shanette Wilson steals scenes as the tough-talking Sister Cindy, who provides much of the film's comic relief.

Despite these strengths, there are some areas where Nun of That falls short. While the film is clearly meant to be absurd and over-the-top, at times the humor feels forced, and some of the jokes fall flat. Additionally, the film's pacing can be uneven, with the plot sometimes meandering before picking up again.

Overall, Nun of That is a fun, if flawed, horror-comedy that will appeal to fans of the genre. Its mix of gore, humor, and nods to classic films make it an enjoyable watch, even if it doesn't quite reach the heights of some of its predecessors.

Nun of That is a 2009 adventure movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 30 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 4.9.
