This film is about the efforts of a human rights activist "James Rhodes", who is there in Tijuana for making sure the fair occurrence of local union election of a US corporation. Meanwhile very unexpectedly, he came to know about the killing of 27 persons in the premises of a tunnel run by drug smugglers. Besides the killing of two teenagers belonging to US comes in his consideration as well. These happenings are enough to provoke him for a struggle against the culprits. As soon as his struggle starts, he is being badly beaten by the men of drug smugglers and being warned very strictly by them to keep him away from all this. Accompanied by an honest police officer (Collins), a US officer (de rossi) and under a keen eye of State Department attache (Spader), he becomes eager to find out the truth behind all happenings. When he links all the recent events, they all lead and point out the killings for the sake of smooth running of drug business. He also came to know about the illegal activities and connection of a US corporation and local police. Obviously all this information is not that easy to come by. He is staking his life to some seriously dangerous levels but he is a kind of person who can stretch himself to any limits for the sake of truth. In the movie, at every step there is ambiguity and danger and through all this, James has to find his way for the search of truth. A really worth to watch movie for film lovers. The locality, theme, story, acting, scenes and overall flow of the movie will not allow the viewers to move even an inch from their seats. The struggle of James gives a message as well to the viewers to never end the efforts for truth and for this purpose one should not hesitate in making any kind of sacrifice.
