The documentary, directed by Bryan Single, details the story of former child soldiers. After been abducted and forced into war by the lord’s resistance army led by Joseph Kony, they are now going through counseling and therapy in a rehabilitation center. It is a story of healing and forgiveness and documents the children’s struggle to break free of the trauma that had been caused by being in captivity and participating in war crimes. With the help of dedicated trauma counselors, the children begin the long journey of learning how to move on with the rest of their lives.
