This film shows the viewer how far someone is willing to go to do with their life what they think is best, be it going to college or disobeying your older cousin and attempting to become someone you are not. This film really touches the viewer's heart by showing the viewer an internal conflict between family members to the point where the father kicks the daughter out of the house and later shows us the love family feels for each other by re-consolidate. We see how the conflicts begging by entering her beloved cousin in the picture and introducing her to the strip club she dances at so that she too, can make more money. Even so the movie might not look like so at first chance is very psychedelically by putting the characters in situations no one would expect and in more than one situation insinuating that even so Diamond doesn't enjoy her job she must continue it in order to peruse the educations she so much desires to later land the job of her dreams.
The movie was made excellently with a great coordination from the director and the actors. Not only did the drama really showed in the character's face but also went as far as showing deeper hidden emotions none of the characters wanted to reveal to each other until the very end where true colors are reveled in an action oriented way. The soundtracks were phenomenal and overall helped set the mood for the film.
This movie is not appropriate for the younger audience and is recommended to be seen only by adults, if children are going to be viewing this film is strongly recommended to be accompanied by a parent or guardian as there is not only nudity but also offensive language and a lot of violence in this film.
